SSC Stenographer Examination 2022:- Staff Selection Commission has released a recruitment notification for filling vacant posts of Stenographer. Eligible / Interested candidates can apply online from 20.08.2022 to 05.09.2022. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……..

Name of the Post: Stenographer Grade C & D

Age Limit for Stenographer Grade C: 

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 02.01.1992 and not later than 01.01.2004. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.01.1989 and not later than 01.01.2004. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 02.01.1987 and not later than 01.01.2004. (both dates inclusive)

Age Limit for Stenographer Grade D:

• For General: Born not earlier than 02.01.1995 and not later than 01.01.2004. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than 02.01.1992 and not later than 01.01.2004. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC/ST: Born not earlier than 02.01.1990 and not later than 01.01.2004. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Stenographer Grade C: Intermediate (12th) Passed. Transcription 50 w.p.m in English and 65 w.p.m in Hindi.
• For Stenographer Grade D: Intermediate (12th) Passed. Transcription 40 w.p.m in English and 55 w.p.m in Hindi.

Fees: Rs. 100/- for General / OBC / EWS and There is no fee for SC / ST / Female / PwD / ESM candidates.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on performance in the Online Test & Typing Test.

Pay Scale: As per SSC Rules.
